Welcome to Barnsley Academy where we acknowledge that learning is a lifelong journey and that we have a vital part to play in our local community Barnsley Academy exists not just for its students but for the community we serve.

We are proud to serve the communities of Kendray and Worsbrough Bank End. The potential of our community is massive and we exist to help realise that huge potential.

We offer adult education opportunities in a range of courses including a very successful programme for adults to gain Level 2 and level 3 Qualifications in Health Care . We are very proud of the 100% success rate on this course!

We also offer our facilities for community use at very reasonable rates believing that our resources belong to the community we serve.
