At Barnsley Academy we acknowledge that learning is a lifelong journey and that we have a vital part to play in our local community.  We are proud to have a specialism of science supported by a theme of business and enterprise.

Our mission, each and every day, is to provide an entitlement to excellence in the services that we offer for our students, our staff, our parents and our community.  Through this we aim to pursue the development of a lifelong love of learning in us all and so bring out the best in everyone.
 
In brief Barnsley Academy exists to:
