Barnsley Academy Allotment

Barnsley Academys‘ Poly tunnel is now up and marks the beginning of our Allotment Garden’.  We are still awaiting the construction of raised beds from Wentworth Castle by John Niland from Community Woodwork.

Mrs Padfield would like to thank Dan Wildsmith and James Wadsworthy for their support in getting the project running, and working with the sixth form.  Also many thanks to those in the communty and staff who have donated plants and woodchippings, pots, garden tools, water buttsd and their time in helping so far in as many ways as possible.  Not forgetting the year 8 and 9 pupils especially.
