Barnsley Academy’s own entrepreneurs Holly Bedford, Ashleigh Jackson and Tawana Chapanduka saw their business skills rewarded when they were chosen to attend the Barnsley Young Champions Awards, hosted by the Barnsley Chronicle.
Held at the Holiday Inn in Dodworth on Friday 13thApril, the awardsshowcased the achievements and endeavours of young people living in Barnsley, with Tawana, Holly and Ashleighnominated for their milkshake business ‘Make n Shake,’ the profits from which they donated to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Though they didn’t win, the enterprising trio did a fantastic job at representing Barnsley Academy and have now been put forward for another awards evening – watch this space for further details.
