Socatots SOCATOTS®
Is the world's first soccer specific physical play programme for children from six months to five years of age. Aimed at giving children their very first start with the ball. It has been developed by Simon Clifford, the man responsible for launching 100 SOCATOTS® centres across the globe, in the last six months. The SOCATOTS® sessions feature parental participation, whereby the emphasis remains largely on fun and structured play throughout all ages. PHASE - 16 months to walking
These sessions will concentrate on the child's lower limbs, helping them to develop flexibility in their feet and ankles. Sessions will also focus on helping children to walk and move, using appropriate exercises and activities. PHASE 2 - walking to 2.5 years
This class is designed for children who can walk confidently. With parental participation, children will start to learn footballing basics such as kicking and passing, turning and juggling. PHASE 3 - 2.5 years to 5 years
Phase Three introduces the child to control of the ball with all body parts, a variation of passes, dribbling movements and much more. SOCATOTS® children will be the most able footballers of their age in the history of the game. Barnsley, Penistone & surrounding areas

Stagecoach Barnsley
School of Performing Arts This is Stagecoach! Down-to-earth quality training for four to eighteen year-olds in the disciplines of dance, drama and singing in a very safe and happy environment. The skills learnt by our Stagecoach students don't disappear when the curtain falls - they are skills for life. Our new term has only just begun which makes it the perfect time to join in all the fun with us!
New Principal James Ford has now taken over and is so impressed by the standard of work he has seen in class!
September saw a venue change to the Barnsley Academy School which hosts fantastic facilities for creative, thirsty students. With brand new air conditioned studios and recital facilities we feel that this change in venue can only inspire our students further. And to coincide with this move we have also decided to change our class times to Friday evenings - now running 4.30pm - 7.30pm. Stagecoach Barnsley offers classes to students for 6-18 year olds where all students spend an hour with each of the teachers in singing, dance and drama. In addition we are hoping to offer an Early Stages class for the 4-6 year olds where students spend half an hour in each of the above disciplines.
Students are taught by a talented team of professional, experienced teachers, who are dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic and strive to bring out the best in every child.
Our classes are enjoyed by children of all ages and abilities and can prepare them for a career in the performing arts. More importantly, children develop self-confidence, esteem, articulation and presentation skills which will benefit them in whatever path they choose to take in the future.
Each term has a different focus...at the end of the Spring Term we normally invite family and friends to see a demonstration the Autumn Term works towards a one hour review or musical and the Summer Term is a 'skills building' term where we cover a diverse range of skills to develop their creativity. This is very much a 'fun' term with a wide variety of topics (we have been known to get the parents involved in a 'Parents do Stagecoach' day!).
