Science Specialism
How the Science specialism impacts on learning at Barnsley Academy
We encourage our young people to broaden their scientific knowledge beyond their examined courses, as well as enhancing their educational experience, through a variety of activities and trips across all year groups. The Science specialism has enabled us to improve the quality of the subject and the opportunities to take part in innovative and challenging activities.
