High hopes for top pupil
Muyuma achieved Barnsley Academy’s best ever GCSE results six A* and four A grades, and hopes to go on to Cambridge to study medicine when she completes her A-levels.
Ace Student Muyuma Rai come to Kendray from Kathmandu and plans to return to help improve its healthcare.
Muyuma came to England with her family from Napal to attain a better education at the age of 10 but still has very strong memories of her home country.
Mr Berry principal said “I think Muyuma is the epitome of the sort of strengths this school is all about.”
