Students celebrate early exam success
A group of 13-year-old year eight students celebrated achieving their maths GCSE three years early. They all achieved grade C, which was the highest grade possible on the exam paper they all sat.
This year, in year nine they will be working towards taking the higher paper, where they can get an A or an A* and after that can start working on their A level maths.
Miss Stewart, head of maths said “It’s a great achievement, and its making the rest of year eight sit up and realise what can be achieved.”
