Below is an overview of the key dates and stages in the Year 9 Options process. Please review the timeline carefully to ensure you are aware of each step and meet all relevant deadlines.

Initial Home Communications: Confirm the details of the Options Process and Evening.  Monday 2nd March 2026
Y9 Options Assembly: Introduction to the Process  W/C 2nd March 2026
Options Booklet Launch: Shared via school website.  Friday 6th March 2026
Option Banding Confirmation: Students will be given their own personal letter in school  Friday 6th March 2026
Y9 Options and Progress Evening: Opportunity to discuss options choices with your teachers.  Thursday 26th March 2026
Deadline: Submission of your options form to main reception.  Friday 24th April 2026
One-to-one meetings: As necessary with Senior Leaders and Careers Team.  W/C 27th April 2026
Confirmation of your Option Choices: Sharing your timetable for the start of Year 10.  W/C 8th June 2026
